Your giving in May was OUTSTANDING! See the report below. However, June, which is often a vacation travel month, has some of our giving on vacation as well.
Overall giving has remained GENEROUS. Look-a here:
- $1,325 for Faith Promise. To meet our goal we pray for $834 to be given to Faith Promise each month. So ... WOW ... and you continue to KNOCK the ball OUTTA DA PAHK in Faith Promise giving; see the report by CLIKCING HERE!
- $385 more for Bread of Life, and
- $167 for our Love Fund!
... BUT ... giving to General Tithes & Offerings is struggling to meet expenses;
- Monthly Tithes & Offerings Budget: $19,011
- Your "June-to-Date" Tithes & Offerings giving: $ 7,776
- June's regular expenses will likely be lower than our $19,011 budgeted needs as our quartlery insurance premium was paid in May. However, we have a LARGE expense to cover required sprinkler system updates.
There is no fear in God's provision and as He has provided, He WILL continue to provide, and His faithful provision comes through your faithful obedience to His call to give ... not for TFN ... not for a sprinkler system ... not for a salary ... but for all of these and MUCH more together to keep us focused on praying and engaging, "His Kingdom Come, His Will Be Done on earth as it is in Heaven."
So, we are THANKFULY for the overly GENEROUS months, like May when God led you to give in this manner:

In these first two weeks of May, you have seen how TFN "survives" financially ... on the faith you have in God to supply all of your personal needs and your answer in actively responsed in such faith to be generous and cheerful in your giving for God's Kingdom's work through TFN! This faith in your lives is active month after month after month; for instance ...
March's giving was AMAZING!
March tithes & offerings were $4,569 dollars above our budgeted needs, AND our expenses were nearly $6,000 less than our budgeted need!

... AND these additonal amounts were given by YOU ...
- $2,245 for Faith Promise
- $3,639 for our Camp Fund via the Chili & Soup Cook-off and Dessert Auction

- $839 specifically for World Missions
For a total in March of:
$30,901 ... .WOW!
However, the SOLE REASON TFN "survives" financially is this:
... and He provides in MANY WAYS! Here are just a few of the ways God provides:
- He provides through you and your faithful, generous stewardship of all that He provides to you!
- He provides through your trust in Him to meet your needs!
- He provides through your practice of faith to give generously to Him through TFN! For instance, a good handful at TFN practice the spiritual discipline of tithing ... giving 10% of their income to God; many of these households are retirees who have practiced such giving throughout their lives and have experienced time and again how God provides when there is too much month at the end of the money. No matter the circumstances, they remained faithful and generous toward God ... cheerfully knowing His assurance. Then many give above and beyond that tithe amount for other ministries they are led to support, i.e., missions (alabaster, etc.), faith promise (supporting Topeka Rescue Mission, DoorStep, Open Door Project, NAMI, etc.), and ministries beyond our scope of reach, i.e., Bethel Faith Children's Home & School in Kenya, Bread of Life, SoUL & TUMI, etc., etc., etc.
- He provides through unexpected gifts!
- He provides through a concientious board who strives to make prudent decision to keep expenses as low as possible!
- He provides through the generous volunteering of time and skills that some share with TFN to keep things going, i.e., lawncare, janitorial care, minor repairs, leading ministries, etc., etc., etc.!
- He has provided through generations of such faifhul, trusting, generous people at TFN, allowing God's ministries to continue on our corner, in our buildings, and across our city for 114 years ... 78 of those on our very corner of 10th & Buchanan.
