Ash Wednesday kicks off the Season of Lent . . . which is far more than your bellybutton collection - and that is "lint" by the way.
The Season of Lent is a time Christians - yeah, you - are invited to abide more closely to Christ; that means, to live differently by continuing to put on a new life in Christ and take off that stuff that doesn't look anything like Jesus. You know the "stuff" - gossip, greed, pride, lust, dissin', etc. So, for you, what might you need to "take off" and what does God what you to "put on"?
