Now in October, the Norths have asked us to join them in these ...

  • PRAISES that God is moving in the pioneering work in Aboriginal communities in Broome and the Kimberly’s (The North’s Australian mission) and ..
  • PRAISES for Mathew and Siobham Taylor who are leading the weekly Broome Nazarene Gathering.

... and prayers ...

  • For Mathew and Siobhan Taylor as they lead the Broome Nazarene Gathering each Sunday. 
  • For their spiritual and physical strength and that they can balance their lives and not get burned out along the way. Mathew and Siobhan both work full time and are parents of two pre-teen daughters. In addition they both are studying to earn degrees. Mathew for Degree in Theology and toward ordination at Nazarene Theological College in Brisbane and Siobhan to become a Nurse.

In July & August, Rob & Cindy asked us to join them with ...

  • PRAISES, thanking the Lord for allowing them to attend the 2025 ARISE Regional Conference in late July in Manila with five of their Aboriginal Christian Leaders from Broome and Melbourne.

 ... and in

  • PRAYER for them as they return to Broome the last days of July. 
  • They specifically ask that we join them in praying they find the right person to fix the Vacuum Toilet in their camper, at least for a short term resolution and then, to raise the resources needed to replace the system to convert to a composting toilet.
  • Also, pray for Rob as he Joins Mark Cox and Jongil Kim on August 1st to drivel up country in the Kimberly’s to visit an Aboriginal community. Pray for them as they journey the 4 hours from Broome with the Caravan in-tow.

In late June 2025, Rob and Cindy sent these prayer request:

  • Pray as we travel to two memorial services here in the US - one on 3 JUL (Norma’s) and one on 11 JUL 2025 (Al’s)

  • Pray for the W&W Team coming from Joplin District to New Zealand in July - Cindy and I will be hosting them there for part of their time there.

  • Pray for the Regional “ARISE” conference in Manila, Philippines 23-27 JULY 2025

  • Pray for the +40 people coming from the Australia/New Zealand field to the conference

  • Pray for Mark Cox, Mathew and Siobhan Taylor as they prepare to attend this important conference and that the resources come in to cover the expenses to attend.

PRAYER Request: 

  Pray for the North’s 6-week home assignment and raising the funds for upcoming ministry conferences.

  Continue to prayer for Mark, Siobhan, Matthew, Garry and Dena as they are forming this Christian Aboriginal Advisory Committee formed to help us be our cultural interpreters as-well-as advise ways we can complement and not compete with what ministry is already going on here in NW Australia.   With alcohol and drug abuse high and a suicide rate twice as high as in other areas in Australia, pray we can get a group like Celebrate Recovery launched with trained Aboriginal leaders in this part of Australia.
